- DOMINO42.DOC is the general documentation for version 4.2 of DOMINO.
- Eventually, perhaps, these instructions should be read. The .DOC file
- may be copied to your printer if desired (no control codes needed).
-
- To play without first reading the documentation, you need to know
- only three or four things (if you have played dominoes before):
-
- 1. When entering your play, the FIRST number typed must match an
- available end of the board. (Do not separate the ends; i.e., to play
- the 3-2, type '32', not '3-2', '3,2', '3 2', etc.)
- 2. There are four ends to the board, numbered COUNTERCLOCKWISE from
- the right. In response to the query "End?" (if it is made), enter the
- appropriate number, 1-4.
- 3. Whenever nothing seems to be happening, press the space bar or the
- Enter key - the program is usually waiting for you to do so.
- 4. Either Q or Esc will terminate the program. Ctrl-Break will also
- get you out, but may leave your screen messed up.
-
- DOMINO requires CGA, EGA or VGA graphics. The display is much cleaner
- with an EGA/VGA card, and there is a much wider selection of colors.
